At the press conference in Guangzhou on Oct, 28th, ONDA announced many new Win8 tablets, among which is the ONDA V961w, also known as the first 3G Windows tablet that sports a 9.6-inch display.
According to ONDA, the V961w sports a 9.6-inch IPS display at the resolution of 1920*1200px, and has a SIM card slot that supports 3G WCDMA. Although ONDA did not reveal the internal specs of the slate, but we believe it should be the same Intel Z3735F quad-core CPU and 2GB RAM found in many fellow Win8 tablets. The tablet also has a 5MP rear-facing camera and 32GB internal storage, and will be priced at RMB1,099 ($180) when it goes on sale.
